Cass Sunstein's 'First Ammendment New Deal'

This story surfaced on World Net Daily yesterday concerning newly confirmed regulatory czar Cass Sunstein's first draft of what he calls the new "Fairness Doctrine" that would include the establishment of a panel of "nonpartisan experts" to ensure "a diversity of views" on the airwaves.
For those who remember the dark ages of the 'Fairness' Doctrine, it effectively silenced dissent about controversial issues on print, television, and radio. The Fairness Doctrine was later repealed by President Regan, but some on capital want to bring it back. Sen Richard (Dick) Durbin (D-IL), Sen. John Kerry (D-MA), Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Sen. Jeff Bingaman (D-NM), Rep Anna Eshoo (D-CA) Sen Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Sen Tom Harkin (D-IA), and former President William (Bill) Clintin (D-AL) have all voiced support of reviving policies enacted in the 'Fairness' Doctrine. Some even want it to include the Internet in these policies. The new FCC diversity czar Mark Lloyd, who by the way sits on the chair of the Center for American Progress (whose progress?) believes that we should enact the media control policies of Hugo Chavez's 'incredible revolution', and make privately owned media companies give %100 of their operating budget to 'public media outlets' (PBS, NPR) What company period can stay in business by having a %100 percent tax on their operating budget?
If you agree that this is wrong, tell your friends, relatives, family members about this abhorence of or first amendment rights. Dissent allows us to be uniquely American. Don't let those who lust for power destroy it.
